The Verizon Prepaid “Basic Plan” with 25 cents per minute with no daily access fee. The Verizon Basic plan is not a good value when you compare to other prepay plans. This is the best plan to add the text packages to if you only use the phone for texting.

Net10.com for 10 cents a minute or Tracfone.com. from 6.6 cents up to 33 cents a minute are less expensive options.

The Prepaid Verizon Core Plan is 99 cents per day for access and calls are 10 cents per minute. The 99 cent per day Core plan gives you unlimited calling to any Verizon Wireless phone. Currently this is over 80 million phones. I used the Verizon Wireless Core program for several months, if most of your phone calls are with Verizon Wireless customers this is often a good option. The best feature of the Core plan is for 99 cents a day you can speak to anyone with Verizon Wireless .

The Verizon Prepaid Plus Plan is $1.99 per day access and charges 5 cents per minute. This plan also includes Unlimited night and weekend minutes (starting at 9 p.m.) and Unlimited calls to other Verizon Wireless phones all day.

The Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Talk Plan offers Unlimited minutes and one-cent text messages for $3.99 per day.

Customer support can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via e-mail, a toll free number and by dialing 611 on your Verizon Prepaid phone without incurring airtime charges. I have used the Verizon Customer service and never been treated poorly. I have used Tracfone and Net10 and Straight Talk customer service. Verizon Customer support is head and shoulders better in my opinion.

I have gone to a Verizon Wireless store for support as well as called 611 from my Prepaid phone. The Customer Support men and women were very good. The 611 phone support person was based in the US not South Korea.

Tracfone Prepaid Yearly Mobile Phone Plan

Tracfone has two yearly plans that can be bought. They offer a $100 one year minute card that you receive Four hundred minutes (800 using Double Minutes for Life. This card often has bonus codes readily available that will typically allow you to receive a bonus of 200 to 400 units. Check here for the most recent Tracfone Coupon Codes. If you only get 800 Tracfone units with this card gives you 12.5 cent minutes and less than $9 a month service.

Additionally offered by Tracfone.com is a $200 per year plan. This $200 plan provides you with 1500 minutes (3000 using the Minute Doubler installed and also a 12 months of service time. With DMFL these minutes are 6.6 cents each and your per month expense is under $17 monthly.
